Blog Sale continued...

I am dividing this blog entry into two parts. The first being actual blogging content, albeit not much. The second part is reserved for more sale items. This is something that may have been self-explanatory or at least clear upon further examination of the following entry...but heck, now I have gone and explained it already. Oh well.

Part One: Actual Blogging

In the spirit of retaining the actual content aspect of this blog while this sale thing goes down I have a few things to share. I got dressed a little while back to see The Wrestler (which was a solid film if ever there was one). I felt it necessary to don something shiny in honor of the films celebrated sport, professional wrestling. I threw in a little cotton spandex (and a whole lot of thigh) and I practically had an homage going on...

Cosby sweater- Thrifted, Salvation Army
Silver tunic top-Thrifted, Salvation Army
Stretchy dress (worn as skirt)- Xhiliration brand, via Goodwill
Boots- Steve Madden

Sometimes, with my penchant for turquoise jewelry, suede, neutral colors...I get dangerously close to dressing like an English Lit professor living in Santa Fe or something. That probably only made sense to me. It is possible that I am toeing the line in this outfit but I was happy, confident, and enthusiastically complimented when I wore it around to do mundane life tasks recently. The toddlers at my daughters school were especially pleased by my necklace. It goes to show you that if you play to the right audience, you will always be a crowd pleaser!

I hope that choosing to wear my hair down made this look a little less New Mexico clay artisan and a little more free spirited, sexual-revolution era co-ed. I hope.

In other news, Mischa Barton has, for me, officially made up for the last two years of her poor choices and the resulting hobo meets gypsy costume from your local Party City that she has been assaulting my eyes with...

And she did it with this one look.
To die! TO DIE! Yeah, I was reduced to borrowing a cheap catchphrase for this. I am in looOOOoooOOOve.

"Aaaaaand SCENE."

(That is theatre kid talk for the end.)

Have you ever considered putting stuff in an etsy shop? I think for all your "cleaning out" sales, it would be very successful. It requires a bit more work than just listing them on your blog but definitely less work than listing stuff on ebay.

Oh I actually have thought about that! My only qualm was having ONE MORE website to keep up with!! I have internet ADD right now with all the different sites I am on! It is definitely a possibility though!
